I’m Fede, a

wedding photographer based in Italy

Human first, always.

My work is rooted in a deep respect for what’s real, for the quiet, often unseen parts of people and relationships. I’m not interested in creating something artificial, or in following trends that don’t belong to you. I work with couples who travel to Italy to get married, from the hills of Tuscany to the Sicily, from Lake Como to Puglia, and who want their day documented honestly, without performance.
The most meaningful images are often unplanned, born from trust, closeness, and the freedom to simply be. My approach is documentary and fine art at once: present, unobtrusive, and always looking for what’s genuinely there.
Photography, for me, is not just about images. It’s about holding space for something true to exist, and preserving it with intention.

NotES from my couplES

Five empty star outlines in a row, commonly used by a wedding photographer based in Italy to represent an unselected or unrated five-star rating system.

From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew Federica was the photographer we wanted. We had followed her work for years and she exceeded every expectation.
Federica captures candid, authentic moments in such a genuine and natural way. Nothing felt staged or forced and she documented our day exactly as it unfolded. She understood what mattered to us and captured the love, emotion and connection between us and our families so honestly.
Federica was also an absolute joy to have around. She is calm, warm and so effortlessly fit into our day. The images themselves are stunning – the style, the light and the overall feel are beautifully considered. We will treasure these photos forever and could not recommend Federica more highly.

QUESTIONS

I photograph a wide range of celebrations — from intimate elopements to multi-day weddings, both in Italy and abroad.
What matters most to me is never the scale of the event, but the intention behind it: the connection, the atmosphere, and the people at the heart of it all.
To ensure each couple receives the presence and care their story deserves, I intentionally take on a limited number of weddings each year.

My work is entirely focused on photography, and I believe in dedicating my full attention and energy to it.
However, over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented videographers whose approach and sensitivity naturally align with my own.

I’ll always be happy to recommend people I deeply trust — both personally and creatively — so that the entire experience feels cohesive, honest, and in harmony with the atmosphere of your day.

Absolutely.
Multi-day celebrations allow for a more complete and immersive way of documenting your story — not only the wedding day itself, but also the atmosphere, connections, and quieter moments surrounding it.

Whenever possible, I always arrive at least one day before the events begin. This creates space to meet in person, become familiar with the setting, and approach the days ahead with calm, trust, and intention.

Yes — thoughtfully and with intention.
The majority of the day is documented digitally, allowing me to preserve every moment with consistency and reliability. Film is used more selectively, for the atmosphere, texture and depth it naturally brings.
Rather than defining the entire gallery, analog photography becomes an artistic layer within the story — something timeless, tactile and emotionally rich.
My approach is always guided by the same intention: creating imagery that feels honest now, and still meaningful many years from today.

Intimate celebrations and elopements are usually documented by me personally.
For larger weddings and multi-day events, I often work alongside one or more trusted photographers whose presence and approach naturally align with my own.

This allows the day to be documented with greater depth and attention, while preserving the same honest and unobtrusive approach throughout.

Absolutely, but in a very natural and unobtrusive way.

I’ll gently guide you when needed, while leaving space for things to unfold naturally. The goal is never to make you perform for the camera, but to help you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves.

Most of the couples I work with feel exactly the same at first.
My approach is calm, intuitive and focused on connection rather than performance, so nothing ever feels overly posed or forced.

The most meaningful images usually happen once you stop thinking about the camera entirely. I will guide you there.

The delivery time frame stated in the contract is up to 3 months, although I always aim to deliver much sooner — often within 4 to 6 weeks.
For couples who wish to receive their gallery earlier, a Priority Gallery Delivery option is also available, with final images delivered within 7 days.

Absolutely.

Your gallery includes access to a private online print store, making it easy to order fine art prints directly from professional labs carefully selected for their quality and longevity.

A signed agreement and a 50% retainer are required to officially reserve your date.
